Thought of the moment! God speaking out of the box!

So how does God speak to us and how does he intervene into our lives each day.  If we began to see Jesus walking through our days we would realise we have even more to worship him about than we presently do.
I truly believe that we can see Jesus walking through the situations of the day big and small if we fail to do this I believe we miss some key lessons and things he wants to say to us and wants to do in our lives.

If we limit God speaking to our quiet times or to someone giving us a prophecy or a chat with someone with them saying what I am saying is from the Lord.  I believe God speaks outside of this, he speaks outside our box.  Dare I say it but he can speak through non believers.  Throughout the day we probably have many conversations with dozens of people some of them are believers some are not. In these conversations the name of Jesus is probably not even mentioned but even at these times God can be speaking.

What about when you have an argument with someone our tendency is to shift the blame away from ourselves and even try to be in the right.  Throughout all these situations and even conflicts we need to be asking ourselves why did I react the way I did what is in my character that God is wanting to refine here.  Perhaps someone says something to you that hurts again the way we tend to react is with a harsh word back or we stew in our own juices replaying the conversation getting angrier and angrier and becoming judgemental of them.
What if God was speaking through that person even though the words came out in a rather ugly package and their tone of voice might not have been pleasant is it possible that God is using this person to point something out in your life. Perhaps an attitude or a way of thinking that is not helping you.  If we disregard things just because of the way they are said to us then we could miss out in some key times when God is speaking with us.

If we began to look at life differently and rather than just coping with what happens but if we took each situation each conversation each word kind and not to Jesus and said Lord what are you trying to say to me what are you trying to show me, how do you want me to change.
Life would become tastier, vibrant, beautiful, abundant. Our relationship to Jesus would grow deeper our roots would grow deeper we would bare fruit, much fruit.

So next time you encounter situations, conversations throughout the day don't just brush over them but say Here I am Lord now what.........
